Mongo Hustle!
My new solo exhibition is coming together slowly but surely. The exhibition will consist of 6 100cm x 100cm portraits of Mongolian graffiti artists ANZ, DEEZ, ASO, RUSTY, RAFFISHCOCK, and ETOSTARR. The exhibition is a celebration of graffiti culture and an exposure to Mongolian street art scene. I've secured sponsorships from Fat Yak, and Koast Kollektive.
Mongolian throatsinger Bukhu is flying down from Sydney to perform at the opening. He'll play a set with local beatboxers, it's gonna be awesome. Talked the guys at Ideo Design to come and film the exhibition set up and the performance.
Also as part of the exhibition, I'm gonna have video projections of excerpts from Mongolian Bling, a documentary on Mongolian hip hop scene by Benj Binks, and videos of Mongolian crews like Click Click Boom, S United, SAS, Redeggs etc. in action in Ulaanbaatar.
There will be limited edition silkscreen prints, as well as t-shirts with Mongo Hustle design on them.
