These days..

My camera decided to de-friend the SD cards for some reason, and now i’m unable to use it. Can imagine it’ll cost me a few hundreds bucks to get it fixed. So now i’m stuck with my camera-phone.

i got in my mailbox today the tshirts i did with Koast. It’s awesome! nice soft fabric, and surprising amount of detail in the image. it comes in either black on grey, or hot pink on white.
very excited! sorry for the crappy photos. i rushed and took with the mac webcam. haha

I have been meaning to add Pito to my website for some time, and always got caught up with other stuff to do it. BUT, it’s there right now, and i think you should take a look, because Pito is my love child.

Melbourne

Melbourne is one cold city. You wouldn’t think I’d say this after spending half of the “proper“ winter in Mongolia, with snow and ice and winds and all. Yet it is bloody cold here. In Mongolia you get the coldness, but it’s dry and so long as you got the layers, and windproof, you’re gonna be ok, cos you’d be warm inside. But in Melbourne, everything gets damp, the humidity seeps right through whatever you’re wearing, and it stays there. The houses are built for summer conditions, the windows are just a single sheet of glass. They need to install some of them vacuum windows. Those bad boys would definitely cut the cost of electricity we use for heating. I must be getting old.
In other news, I lost a whole box of books and paintbrushes, pens and pencils, MY ROTRING PENS in a boot of a cab in Sydney. I was ready to punch myself to death. The fresh start will have to be a fresh fucking start now, haha. Otherwise, I’m ok.

as crazy as this sounds, it is snowing outside here in UB. it’s MAY ALREADY!!! COME ON!!! you can’t really see it in the photo, cos i took with my shitty camera phone, but trust me the snowflakes are big and they’re falling!!

976 Magazine

Ok,
i got the macjournal figured out, so i can start posting away.

first off, check out 976 Magazine website, to preview the new issue. we’ve put a lot of effort into it and even though it’s slightly late, i’m still very proud of it.
there’s facebook, and twitter account for it as well (though all the content is in Mongolian).

and we got our visas so we’ll be heading back to land of Oz in near future, in matter of weeks, i suppose. and the feeling is mixed, from personal side. on one hand it is good, i’ll go back and see friends i haven’t seen in a while now, and get to do things i’ve started and left in australia. though on the other hand it’s very sad to leave the friends here and leave something i started, though the internet isn’t going anywhere so i’ll be doing as much as i can here, in spirit form.

the main thing is, i know how to survive here now. i came back with nothing on my mind as to what i should be doing with myself, and going away with a well of knowledge about many things, some professional, some not so. life is crazy. but crazy is good.
