Koast

I'm working on some designs for Koast, a small local snowboard label. They create custom boards with some real awesome art. I'm doing a tshirt design and a design for the snowboard. Should be awesome once it's done. Check out their website. They kick ass!

Arch is Balding @ No Vacancy

I put up one of the paintings from Six Feet Over show in an exhibition in Melbourne at No Vacancy Gallery, titled Arch is Balding. I couldn't make it myself. The show is a spin on the Annual Archibald Portraiture prize. Over 40 artists showing portraits with difference.

I'm waiting for some photos to put up from Ben. Meanwhile, here's some opening night snaps i stole off Facebook.

Action v. Action

I took part in 4A gallery's Action v. Action project. The whole idea of the project was to create a painting/drawing at the gallery in 30 mins, like live painting, action painting. Had no idea what I was doing for the first 20 minutes, then things kinda pulled together into a shaman/warrior. The guys at the gallery were so nice, they give me an hour to finish it off, and I got lots of good responses.

Firstdraft Fundraiser Show

I've submitted a poster to Firstdraft Gallery's Fundraiser show Single
Poster Seeks Same. It's a recycled poster i did for one of my
lecturers back in Uni. He asked me to do a poster for a show but it
never happened. I turned it into an old German Sci-Fi Horror Thriller
kinda poster, with a blinking red LED lamp for one of the eyes.

The posters are for sale for 50 bucks i think. and the best artists
wins a free show next year.

Tessuti Awards

Eggie's participating in annual Tessuti Awards tonight, in "Little Black Dress" category. I think she slept for 3 hours last night, working on the dress. It looks awesome. Her friend Punam's gonna model the dress. We're already a little bit late, but they're very close by so we'll just rock up.
